SUPPORT

We know this project has sparked a wide range of opinions—and we respect that. But for many in our community, it’s about more than just clean water. It’s about protecting property values, reducing maintenance burdens, preventing future infrastructure failures, and creating a healthier, more resilient place to live for generations to come. If you support the project but feel hesitant to speak up, you’re not alone. This page is here to offer encouragement, share facts, and give supportive voices a chance to be heard—because your voice matters, too.
The MCRSD received the following anonymous letter from a concerned citizen that lives within Priority Service Area #1. We are sharing this document with the general public in order to help make sure that the residents within the current project area that may be experiencing similar issues know that they are not alone. Providing and/or establishing a permanent solution to these issues, by way of a publicly owned and operated sanitary sewer system, is the primary reason for which the MCRSD was established by Marshall County and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in 2022.
Hear One Neighbor’s PerspectiveLetters like this highlight why the MCRSD was created — to address real issues impacting our community.
